A while back, someone took to Twitter to reprimand us for having a fairly basic LinkedIn company page.
Not NO LinkedIn company page mind you… just a basic write-up.
I replied that, while we could chase down every social media ‘opportunity’ under the sun and perfect it to the Nth degree...
...to do so would be a CRIMINAL waste of time.
And it’s a waste of yours, too.
Just because you CAN do something ‘for free’ that might theoretically help your business, DOES NOT mean you should.
Because actually these activities ARE NOT FREE!
Your time is the most precious commodity of all.
Rockefeller, with all his riches, could never buy so much as a half a second of time, and nor can you.
And the difference in impact between spending time on pointless tasks as opposed to profitable ones is chalk and cheese.
Which is why our old friend the 80/20 rule is so much help.
It says 20% of your marketing activities will deliver 80% of the results...
